Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord
aren’t we all so thankful,
for what the prophets stood for?

In this Judeo-Christian society,
where is the love that was taught to be.

American born and American raised
and in my age,
I’m still amazed.

But is there a better place
where we can live?
Is there a better world
where we learn to give?

Reaching out is sometimes
all that I can do.
reaching out
for my love to you.
Sometimes I have no meaning.
Sometimes I mean too much.

But maybe this is just...
the modernization of my mind.
Maybe this is just...
the modernization of the time.
Maybe this is just...
the modernization of this social life.

how far are we
from true reality?

Material gains and poverty blames,
spiritual name
separates the truth from the games.
So, if you’re thinking
that you can win,
well, maybe that’s just
what you should do.

And if you’re thinking
that you can’t win,
well, maybe, little brother,
that’s your biggest sin.
But can anyone handle
this type,
oooh this type of conceptual love?

But can anyone handle
the reality of
of, oooh little brother,
of what does exist.
Oooh little sister,
of what does exist.

But, again, maybe
this is just...
the modernization of my mind.
